DJ Vlad: A Curable Cancer 2 The Black Body

We need each other, we have to have each other for our survival. From the revolutionaries to the conservatives, a Black united front is what we're about. Kwame Ture

THE Black body in America is one. Although there may be scattered contrarians, no one can deny that our polity forms a nationality so unique that no artist or philosopher can fully relate what Black folk embody. Even nature envies us. Our watching world perceives us as a monolith. The stereotypes placed upon Black America is proof of this. Therefore, as our social prophet Malcom X once preached, “It is absolutely necessary—anything that is done for us, has to be done by us!” It is amongst ourselves where we determine who deserves which distinction, like how the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob organized Israel into tribes.

It is absolutely necessary—anything that is done for us, has to be done by us!

Since the genesis of our diaspora, we have been waging a war for liberty and identity. The progeny of the Transatlantic slave trade inherited this war as the sole beneficiary. Wisdom teaches us, while in war, remain vigilant. Our adversary, society, is morally dilapidated. This moral drought is like a little yeast that works through the whole batch of dough. Those things Blacks find pleasurable, exciting, or whatever we anticipate on a daily basis is the fruit of hypocritical, mediocre, and subjective moral standards. None of it is conducive to a healthy, altruistic society. Further, especially in my precious Black community certain topics and rhetoric is like a cigarette, it is harmful to the one directly engaged and even worse for those in proximity.

Certain topics and rhetoric is like a cigarette, it is harmful to the one directly engaged and even worse for those in proximity.

Have you noticed that the content of many talk shows and interviews consist of gossip, falsehood, and propaganda? DJ Vlad’s sole purpose in his interviews incriminates, humiliates, and bolt locks any doors of progression for Black folk. With more than 4.5 billion views, at least someone you know, knows of him. His influence is omnipresent within our culture. His ethnic and cultural targeting is disgusting! It is enraging! It is disheartening! How can such evil be tolerated? Or is it more absurd that this is a billion-dollar industry? Is it not odd that we live in a society where it is acceptable for humans to monetize other human’s plight, trauma, and foolishness? Mumia Abu-Jamal once prophesied how a person like DJ Vlad would rise in our society, he says, “[He is] addicted to humiliating the weak. [He is] hierarchical (meaning he follows the orders of those in power, even if the order is evil). [He is] unfeeling to the pain and terror of others.” Like sheep we willingly go to the slaughter for a few grains of green seeds.

DJ Vlad is anti-Black.

DJ Vlad is anti-Black. We cannot let him add a new link to our chain. As the title suggests, we have the prescription needed to heal ourselves and unite in power. Our healing and dignity and sympathy for each other can only come after we have successfully boycotted everything he represents and produces. My brothers and sisters and anyone who desires human equity, in all urgency and commitment— boycott DJ Vlad! May we awaken soon before this cancerous cell harms our vital organs.

Having African blood isn’t enough. We need loyalty, some type of commitment.
