Humanly Seasons
Relationships come and go
They melt under the heat like snow
Like the tide, they ebb and flow
Some lasts longer than others
While some are eternal like the one between you and your mother
Some cause us 2 chuckle like when we remember our grade-school lovers
Throughout life
This fact remains the same
As the tune of time adjusts with the rhythm of our growth
We all change and stay the same
But, where do our old selves go?
Now, we’re faced with a question
Am I maturing?
You’re one step closer 2 reaching your glory
So 2 respond immaturely
Will cause Him 2 restart the story
And another relationship comes
And the tears won’t stop
Because relationships refine
They add flavor to the pot
Relationships are seasoning
Love is the pot
Each person you meet will teach you something about yourself
Something unique
As they come and as they go
Take a seat with patience because love always hopes and perseveres and trusts and protects
Reflect on the tears as well as the laughter
All relationships are seasonal and they only beat the batter
“The despairing reality about life is that pain is more memorable than love.”
