Solo Dolo

Dazed and blurred, I only see double

All of life originates from One

Yet, 2 create the desires of One

The animals mate not individually

The flowers mate as well

The very essence of life is maintained by the combination of elements

Rain is never singular

Each drop, drops with its lover

The blades of grass can only grow when their roots run against the other

One circular life

Some say, it is best experienced in 2s

Life yearns for itself

This is vividly expressed with another

But if I could, I would’ve been born with no mother

Life alone is sobriety, void of any fun

Forever a half

I’ve abandoned the desire of the search for one

Knowing how to be solitary is central to the art of loving. When we can be alone, we can be with others without using them as a means of escape.
