Solomon’s Song

If I was blind

I would rub my hands all over you

I’ll feel every part of you

With my hands and my lips

Our bodies would be in an eternal embrace like the hand underneath the thinker’s face

Skin on skin

As our heart beat synchronize

If I was deaf

I would stare and observe

Art is made for this purpose

I’ll notice the tears before they ever leave your eyes

I’ll see your spirit pulsating, even through your clothes

My passion would burn with such might and power

Could all of the oceans douse it?

Only then, I’ll wish I was blind

2 alternate between these handicaps

To understand the one

I hope to call eternally mine

There are all kinds of love in the world, but never the same love twice.
