Great, Great Love

A love so great

Only my mind can contain it

Kind of

The human brain, who could contain it?

For if this love was tangible

My body wouldn’t understand it

Words couldn’t describe it

It would be like a pleasing dream

And once awakened

Forgotten

If the Love was to come

I would cower in fear

Yeah, be so scared I couldn’t shed a tear

I would try to hide under the dirt

Even under the rocks

But, be not afraid emboldened me

For, He has made me for Himself

The chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.
