A Trip To Israel
I traveld 2 Israel
My tour guide lead me across land and sea
Historical facts he could not guarantee
We were hypnotized by geography, natural and manmade
The land was bold, abundant, some said they could smell God’s feet
But throughout the entire trip
I could only wonder
If the rocks could speak
What would they preach?
They are history’s first prophets and historians
Impervious to bribes or a lost of memory
I wonder, how I wonder, the things that nature has seen
“I’ve seen a lot of beautiful things with a heavy heart.”
